This static control garment meets the
latest ANSI ESD standards for a "Groundable Static Control Garment"
(when used with ground cord) or as a "Static Control Garment" (if used
without ground cord). ElectraWear Advanced are excellent for use in class
1,000 plus clean rooms. Optional fabrics pass class 100 clean room
requirements! This high level of cleanliness and low level of particle
shedding make them the perfect choice for ANY environment. ElectraWear
Advanced are designed for use in
mission critical ESD control areas and feature premier conductivity due to their 96% polyester, 4% carbon
suffused nylon fabric. The precision alignment of the sleeves and side panels
provides excellent sleeve to sleeve and panel to panel throughput of
static charges to ground. Each smock is provided with a 4 mm side mount auxiliary ground
snap. These smocks may be used with or without the optional smock ground
cord. ElectraWear Static Control Smocks are designed for fast, thorough and complete elimination of user induced static charges. These garments are ANSI/ESD S20.20-2014 TR-53 test friendly. When used without the optional ground cord these garments are compliant to ANSI/ESD S20.20-2014 STM2.1, "static control garment". When grounded using the optional smock ground cord they are compliant to ANSI/ESD STM2.1, "groundable static control garment." The typical electrical resistance of this garment, human body and standard smock ground cord is 2.42E06 @ 29.3rH and 70 degrees F. The typical panel to panel and sleeve to sleeve resistance is <1.0E07 @ 29.3%rH and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Superb Sleeve to Sleeve and Panel to Panel Conductivity Light Weight but Indestructible!
