United SCP's UltraComfort is a Mission Critical ESD bench top matting consisting of a thin, static dissipative top layer that is heat fused to a static conductive inner scrim. This scrim is bonded to a soft cushion of antistatic expanded foam.

This combination provides enhanced mechanical shock protection and permanent static control conductivity. Circuit boards and other items sink into the mat for better contact and improved charge decay.

UltraComfort (PN 167-AS) may be used to work in concert with constant monitors (push and cinch snaps recommended). It is easy to keep clean and warranted for lifetime static control properties. Unlike many ESD bench mats UltraComfort is NOT dependent on ambient humidity for its outstanding static control performance.

UltraComfort is a Mission Critical Tri-Layer ESD Matting. Take a look at its constuction. A Tri-layer mat provides a highly conductive inner scrim sandwiched between layers of less conductive material. This "static dissipative" construction is what slows and controls the discharge and allows the electrostatic potential to disperse evenly across the entire mat and to a ground source.
